“Afyon buffalo yoghurt” received geographical indication registration certificate…
“Afyon buffalo yoghurt”, one of the local flavours of Afyonkarahisar province, has been registered with a geographical indication certificate by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.
Afyonkarahisar Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairperson Hüsnü Serteser, in his written statement, noted that he was happy that “Afyon buffalo yoghurt” was registered with geographical indication after their application.
Serteser said, “Our Chamber has increased the number of geographical indication registered products to 5 with Afyon buffalo yoghurt after Afyon sausage, Afyon pastrami, Afyon marble and Afyon cream.”
“Hopefully, we will also obtain the geographical indication registration of Afyon felt, which is at the application stage,” Serteser added…
