International fairs, which prepare a great ground for export agreements in international trade, are preparing to bring exporters and importers together in 2025.
Aegean exporters, who want to contribute 50 billion dollars to Türkiye’s annual exports in 2025, will go to 17 fairs with national participation organisation under the leadership of Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB).
Stating that they left 2024 behind with 13 national participation organisations, Jak Eskinazi, Coordinator Chair of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, noted that they started their preparations to increase the number of fairs they will participate in 2025 to 17.

The Aegean Exporters’ Association has been organising Türkiye’s National Participation in Foodex Japan, Japan’s largest food fair, for more than a quarter of a century. Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association, emphasized that the Turkish food sector has an export target of 1 billion dollars to Japan, which imports 75 billion dollars of food products annually and underlined that Foodex Japan Fair is of vital importance to achieve this target.
“We will strive to raise the market share of Turkish food products at the Foodex Fair in Japan on 7-11 March 2025 with our tasting events consisting of our flavours produced in 7 regions of Anatolia. We will be at the New York Fancy Food Show between 29 June – 1 July 2025 to put another brick in our 5 billion dollar food export target to the USA,” Uçak said.
“We have been carrying out a TURQUALITY Project called Turkish Tastes for 5 years to ramp up food exports to the USA. In the 5-year period, we recorded a 100 percent increase in food exports to the USA. We believe that our TURQUALITY Project will boost our food exports to the USA even faster in the coming period,” Uçak added…
We invite our food exporters to take their places in the food fairs we will organise in Japan and the USA. In 2025, we will organise national participation in Fine Food Australia Fair for the first time on 8-11 September 2025. With this fair, we aim to strengthen the position of Turkish food products in the Australian market.’
