EİB exceeded 15 billion dollars in exports…
Exports of Aegean Exporters’ Association (EİB), the umbrella organization of exporters in the Aegean Region, where exports had begun in Turkey, soared by 21 percent in the last 1-year period, from 12 billion 460 million dollars to 15 billion 30 million dollars.
Aegean exporters, who achieved their 2021 target 5 months ago, increased their end of 2021 targets to 16 billion dollars.
The previous annual export record of Aegean Exporters’ Associations was 13 billion 316 million dollars in 2018.
While industrial products contributed 8 billion 645 million dollars to the exports of Aegean Exporters’ Associations between August 11, 2020 and August 10, 2021, the export increase rate of industrial products was recorded as 31 percent. EİB’s exports of industrial products in the previous year were 6 billion 622 million dollars.
The export of agricultural products of EİB, which has 7 agricultural exporters’ associations, expanded by 8 percent from 4 billion 948 million dollars to 5 billion 338 million dollars.
