While the Goverment continued its works in many headings from income insurance to land banking in agriculture, agricultural assets worth 281.1 billion liras have been insured so far.
Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli stated that 14 million 440 thousand agricultural insurance has been arranged since 2006.
Pointing out that those who have agricultural insurance are advantageous and satisfied, Pakdemirli said, “It is of great benefit to our farmers as 50 percent of the premium is covered by the state.”
