The fresh fruit and vegetable sector, which generated 3.7 billion dollars in foreign exchange for Türkiye in 2025, took its place at the Fruit Logistica Fair in Germany, a market where it is strong in exports, in order to reach its export target of 4 billion dollars.
The sector’s export target for 2026 is to exceed 4 billion dollars…
Over 90,000 visitors from 151 countries attended the fair, which featured 63 Turkish companies representing all stakeholders, including fruit, vegetables, machinery, logistics, etc.
The Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association participated in the Fruit Logistica Fair, held in Berlin, Germany, between 4-6 February 2026, with an information stand.
Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB), stated that at the Fruit Logistica Fair, the world’s largest gathering point for the fresh fruit and vegetable sector, they explained Türkiye’s production power in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector to importers from all over the world.
The stand of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association was visited by Gökhan Turan, Turkish Ambassador to Berlin, Devran Ayık, Turkish Commercial Counsellor in Berlin and Mehmet Sefa Saral, Turkish Trade Counsellor in Berlin.
At the Fruit Logistica Fair, Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association, Cengiz Balık, Vice Chair of the Board of Directors, Sadık Demircan and Vural Güleç, Members of the Board of Directors, Makbule Çiftçi, Chairwoman of the EYMSİB Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Committee and Cumhur İşbırakmaz, Secretary General of Aegean Exporters’ Associations, made efforts to ramp up Türkiye’s fresh fruit and vegetable exports…
