Reminding that six exporters’ associations across Türkiye have joined forces under the Türkiye Food Exporters (TGİ) brand to promote their sectors internationally, Muhammet Öztürk, Chair of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association, announced that they will bring the Foodist Istanbul Fair to their sector.
Stating that in 2026, they will again participate in these organisations with combined strength, Öztürk said, “This year, we are preparing for and excited about welcoming a new fair to our sector. We will bring the Foodist Istanbul Fair to the sector under the umbrella of the Türkiye Food Platform at Tüyap Istanbul between 1-4 September 2026. We have no doubt that this new fair, which represents a major step towards our goal of becoming one of the world’s top three food fairs, will be a meeting point that showcases our country’s ambition on the international stage.”
Öztürk also emphasised that the companies participating in the two UR-GE projects launched by the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association, one in the grain sector and the other in the pet food sector, will strive to develop their export capacities.
“In addition to these projects, we will continue the Turkish Tastes Turquality Project in the United States to promote Turkish food and the ‘Sugar Products Turquality Project’ in the United States, Canada and Mexico to enhance exports in the sugar products sector until 2026,” he added…
