Türkiye exported 57,944 tonnes of dried figs during the 2024/25 dried fig export season, which began on September 25, 2024 and ended August 16, 2025, generating 347,840,000 dollars in foreign currency revenue. While dried fig exports decreased by 5 percent compared to the 2023/24 season, foreign currency revenue surged by 25 percent. The average export price of dried figs surged by 31 percent in US dollars, from 4,570 to 6,000 dollars per tonne.
The United States led the list of dried fig exporters with 79.4 million dollars, followed by France with 42 million dollars and Germany with 40 million dollars.
