Emre Uygun, Chair of the Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters Association, stated that Mediterranean-style eating has become a trend in the United States in recent years.

Pointing out that Türkiye is the world’s largest producer of table olives and the second largest producer of olive oil, he noted, “Only in our country is there a separate culinary culture dedicated to olive oil dishes.
