2 New Investments from Abalıoğlu Yağ (Oil) in Izmir…
Abalıoğlu Yağ (Oil), which established one of the vegetable oil plants with the highest capacity and the most advanced technology in Western province of Izmir’s district Aliağa, is making two new investments in the region.
With the additional investment in its facility in Çiğli district of, İzmir, Abalıoğlu Yağ (Oil) will have a daily soybean processing capacity of 1,000 tonnes and a total production of 1,400 tonnes. At its facility in Aliağa, it aims to increase its soybean processing capacity to 2,500 tonnes per day by the end of 2025.
Making a statement about the investment, Abalıoğlu Board Member Zeynep Abalıoğlu said, “With these two new investments, we are boosting our facilities in Izmir province to a total of 200 thousand square metres. With the commissioning of our additional facility in İzmir Çiğli in 2024, our facility will have a daily soybean processing capacity of 1,400 tonnes.”
Pointing out that in 2025, they aim to finalise the investment in Aliağa district and put it into operation, she noted, “Thanks to our deep-rooted history, the care we show to our business, our investments in technology and human resources and our know-how, we are growing not only in our country but also in global markets. Today, we export sunflower oil and soybean oil to more than 40 countries.”
