55 percent of the participants in a survey conducted on 5 December World Turkish Coffee Day answered the question “What does Turkish coffee mean to you?” with “pleasure”, followed by relaxation with 28 percent and mutual conversation with 17 percent.
A famous coffee store chain shed light on Turkish Coffee consumption habits with a survey conducted with the participation of 8 thousand people before 5 December World Turkish Coffee Day.
We drink 1-3 cups of Turkish Coffee a day…
In the survey conducted on social media, 47 per cent of the participants said that they drink 1-3 cups of Turkish coffee a day. The rate of those who consume 1 cup of Turkish coffee a day was 43 percent and the rate of those who consume more than 3 cups was 3 percent. While 70 percent of the participants said that they prefer to drink Turkish coffee black (plain), the rate of those who say medium sugar is 24 percent and the rate of those who say sugary is 5 percent.
In the survey, the participants were also asked the question “How often do you have freshly ground Turkish coffee prepared on your order?”. Forty-six per cent of the participants responded “I have Turkish coffee” every 10 days, 35 per cent once a month, and 18 per cent once every 20 days…
