The Izmir Commodity Exchange Ordinary Assembly Meeting of July was held on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 with video conferences and with a large participation of the members of the Assembly. The guest speaker of the meeting was Mustafa Özen, İzmir Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry.
Izmir Provincial Agriculture and Forestry Director Mustafa Özen, stating that İzmir has a great strategic importance in the field of agriculture and said, “We will work with all our strength to carry agriculture to better points in İzmir. As our Provincial Directorate, we will provide all kinds of support for our farmers to obtain quality and healthy products in production.”
Pointing out that their primary goal will be to enhance the brand value of İzmir province in terms of agriculture and add more value to production, Özen noted, “We will be retaining close ties with İzmir Commodity Exchange in this term.”
“Within this framework, we will create an organization / committee that will include the Commodity Exchange and will bring together all stakeholders for projects and studies to be carried out under the coordination of our Directorate,” Özen added.
“We will form an organization / committee. We will come together on a regular basis to work on ensuring effective cooperation with the projects from now on,” Özen concluded…
