Tiryaki Agro, the leading agricultural products supply chain, through its subsidiary Sunrise Foods International, has acquired US-based organic feed producer Ozark Organics. The company, which is by far the leader in the North American organic agricultural products market, has strengthened its position in organic feed with this strategic step.
Tiryaki Agro, which has a unique business model that efficiently manages every link in the supply chain management of agricultural products on a global scale, from certified seed to production in the field, from production to storage, from processing to logistics, from trade to the final consumer, continues to grow in the organic agricultural products market.
The company’s Canada-based subsidiary Sunrise Foods International announced that it has acquired the majority shares of organic feed producer Ozark Organics. Ozark Organics, headquartered in Buffalo, Missouri, USA, operates an organic feed mill in 2019, using organic maize and organic soybean meal as key ingredients in specialised feed formulations.
Making a statement on the acquisition, Tiryaki Agro CEO Süleyman Tiryakioğlu said that they are in a proud development in the global organic agricultural products market.
“Joining our group in 2018, Sunrise Foods is by far the leader in the field of organic agricultural products with a market share of 25 percent in North America. In August, Sunrise Foods acquired Ozark Organics, the leading organic feed producer in the USA and started organic feed production in the same market, bringing it one step closer to the end consumer,” he said.
