THE FOURCE VIRTUAL FOOD EXHIBITION OPENS ITS DOORS TO VISITORS…

The Fource brings the world food industry together…

Organized by the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, The Fource opened its virtual doors to its visitors. All players of the world food industry will come together on The Fource platform, where 53 Turkish food companies open stands. The Fource virtual food fair will bring together the food industry stakeholders from all over the world by revitalizing the business initiatives that have been interrupted by the pandemic process with the opportunities provided by the present time.

Speaking in the opening speech of The Fource, Ministry of Commerce Deputy General Director for Exports, Musa Demir emphasized the importance of realizing such an important exhibition during the pandemic process and said, “The Fource is a very important event. With the onset of the pandemic, classical fairs have been canceled. Our export family has a structure that adapts very quickly to new conditions. We have supported 6 virtual fairs since the beginning of the pandemic. The Fource will be seventh. 613 companies, 28 thousand foreigners, 51 thousand visitors attended 6 fair organizations. 42 thousand job interviews were made in these events.”

In his speech, Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM) Chairperson İsmail Gülle explained, “Our food sectors within the Aegean Exporters’ Associations have also broken the taboo of ‘food is not introduced without seeing and tasting’, which is considered for food fairs, together with our virtual food exhibition. We can see that all our sectors, especially our food and agriculture sectors, are keeping up with digital transformation.”

Indicating that the Fource is antidote to the pandemic period, Aegean Exporters’ Associations Coordinator Jak Eskinazi noted, “We will exhibit our valuable raw materials offered by the geography of Turkey and value-added food products to the whole world by way of The Fource.”

“We will put into practise the information and trading network where the sectoral stakeholders come together in a virtual reality environment with the Fource. The Fource will be bringing a new initiative to our food exports with the opportunities provided by the today’s world and technology,” Eskinazi added…
