SuperFresh’s ‘Women Stars of Agriculture’ project, launched with the aim of increasing sustainable agriculture and women’s labour force, was discussed at the Sustainable Brands Türkiye 2024 event. SuperFresh’s ‘Women Stars of Agriculture’ project, which aims to ensure equal opportunities in agriculture and make women’s labour visible, was discussed in detail at the Sustainable Brands Türkiye 2024 event.
According to the statement made by Kerevitaş, a panel was organised within the scope of Sustainable Brands Türkiye 2024.
In the panel, the work carried out in the project, which sets an effective example in terms of academia-industry-civil society cooperation, was explained, Altınkılınç, whose views were included in the statement, highlighted that as Kerevitaş, they work with determination with a focus on equal opportunities and inclusiveness as well as environmental performance.
Emphasising that developing projects that will reinforce their transformative impact in the field of social sustainability is among their most important goals, Altınkılınç noted that they are one of the largest suppliers in Türkiye with a product volume of 150 thousand tonnes.
Altınkılınç also reminded that they aimed to boost the rate of women farmers they supported by 100 percent in 3 years with the project they launched with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2022 and reported that they achieved this goal in one year…
