Storage periods extended in Licensed Warehouses…

The Ministry of Trade extended the maximum storage periods in the licensed warehousing practice for some agricultural products.

STORAGE PERIOD INCREASED FROM 24 TO 36 MONTHS…

The Regulation of the Ministry of Trade on the Amendment of the Regulation on Licensed Warehousing of Agricultural Products entered into force after being published in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the maximum storage period of agricultural products in licensed warehouses was increased from 24 months to 36 months.

PUBLISHED IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE…

The Ministry’s Communiqué Amending the Communiqué on Licensed Warehouses for Cereals, Legumes and Oil Seeds was also published in the Official Gazette.

With the amendment, the maximum storage period of agricultural products subject to the communiqué in licensed warehouses from the harvest period was increased from 12 months to 18 months. This period was determined as 36 months instead of 24 months for the products belonging to the Turkish Grain Board (TMO).
