The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, announced that the infrastructure of the geothermally heated greenhouse organised agricultural zone in Simav district of Kütahya province, has been completed and is ready for production. The 1,185-decare site, comprising 17 greenhouses and 8 industrial facilities, is expected to provide employment for 1,500 people and contribute 3 billion lira annually.

Highlighting that they have combined the power of geothermal energy with the bounty of agriculture in the Simav district of Kütahya and opened a new chapter in the region’s economy, Yumaklı stated, “The Simav Geothermal-Heated Greenhouse Organised Agricultural Zone, with its infrastructure now complete, is ready for production. Our region is at the service of our investors with 1,185 decare of production area, 17 modern greenhouses and 8 industrial facilities.”
“May this massive facility, which will provide employment for 1,500 people and contribute 3 billion lira annually to our national economy, bring prosperity to Kütahya region and our country,” Yumaklı added…
