Şerafettin Memiş, the founder of Memişoğlu Tarım Ürünleri and Tat Bakliyat companies (Memişoğlu Agricultural Products and Tat Pulses Companies) who worked for half a century in the pulses sector and left his mark with his investments, was commemorated at the 10th February World Pulses Day event organised by Mersin Commodity Exchange. The gratitude plaque prepared in memory of the doyen industrialist Şerafettin Memiş, who passed away on 3 November 2024, was presented to Veysel Memiş.
Receiving the plaque of gratitude on behalf of Şerafettin Memiş, Veysel Memiş, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Tat Gıda, said that he was very honoured to receive the plaque of gratitude prepared on behalf of his father. Veysel Memiş stated that in the spiritual presence of Şerafettin Memiş, they will continue to work day and night to carry the flag of service they received from him much higher.
