Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB) has prepared Promotion Projects in order to further boost the exports of Turkish Tea, which is the green gold of the Eastern Black Sea Region and to promote it in potential markets abroad and to diversify the number of countries for Turkish Salmon, which has come to the forefront in exports as the shining sector of the Black Sea Region in recent years.
Two Promotion Projects, prepared by the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association, were included in the scope of Turquality Support by the Ministry of Trade. Within the scope of the projects, Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association will promote Turkish Tea and Turkish Salmon in foreign markets for 4 years and ramp up the export of these products and country diversity.
Saffet Kalyoncu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DKİB, says that order to increase the exports of Turkish Tea and Turkish Salmon, two valuable products of the region, to higher figures in foreign markets that are seen as potential, they are planning to organise promotional activities in written and visual media along with social media and influencers and also to participate in tasting events and fairs so as to reach the end consumers.
Pointing out that with these projects, which will be started in 2024, he adds, “Various promotional activities will be organised in foreign markets for 4 years and then, in consultation with the sectors, new projects that will be needed by the sectors in accordance with current developments to rise exports will be implemented.”
