Pınar Et, Türkiye’s First Integrated Meat Facility, Celebrated Its 40th Anniversary…
Pınar Meat(Et) General Manager Hüseyin Demir stated that Pınar Meat continues to lead the total processed meat market with a 19.1 percent tonnage share.

As Türkiye’s first privately owned integrated meat facility, Pınar Meat has operated relentlessly since its founding, embracing its identity as a responsible producer. The company celebrated its 40th anniversary.
The ceremony was attended by Yaşar Holding Board Member Yılmaz Gökoğlu, Yaşar Holding Executive Vice President Turgut Sarıoğlu, Yaşar Holding Finance Vice President Tolga Şenefe, Pınar Et and Çamlı Livestock Vice President Tunç Tuncer, Yaşar Foreign Trade General Manager Hasan Tuna Settar, Pınar Et General Manager Hüseyin Demir and Pınar Et employees along with executives.
Pınar Meat General Manager Hüseyin Demir explained that Pınar Et, established in 1985 as the country’s first integrated modern meat facility within the Yaşar Group with the entrepreneurial spirit of the late Yaşar Holding Honorary President Selçuk Yaşar, continues its operations with the goal of being a pioneer in production, innovation and brand reliability.

“As Pınar Meat, we maintain our leadership in the total processed meat market with a 19.1 percent tonnage share”, Hüseyin Demir said, “We are a company that acts with environmental responsibility and creates value by pursuing pioneering practices in the circular economy.”
“As Pınar Meat, we are working tirelessly to achieve our goals of becoming a carbon-neutral organization by 2050. We aim to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by 30 percent and our water footprint by 15 percent by the end of 2030. While maintaining our leadership in the packaged meat sector in Türkiye, we continue to introduce Pınar flavours to our consumers in more than 30 countries abroad,” Demir noted.
