Pınar Dairy (Süt), which carries out its work with a focus on environmental, social and economic sustainability in line with its vision of ‘The Health of Generations, the Future of Generations’, won the award in the in the ‘Social Responsibility’ category.
Pınar Dairy (Süt), which continues its work in line with the sustainability vision of the late Selçuk Yaşar, Honorary Chairman of Yaşar Holding, has been honoured with a significant award at the Green Transformation Awards organised by Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (EBSO). The ‘The Future of Our Milk in Conscientious Hands’ project, launched by the Pınar Institute in 2014, received an award in the Social Responsibility category at the EBSO Green Transformation Awards.
Speaking at the ceremony, Pınar Dairy (Süt) General Manager Serdar Türkmen stated that, in line with the vision of the late Selçuk Yaşar, Honorary Chairman of Yaşar Holding, they regard sustainability as one of the fundamental elements of their approach to long-term value creation.
“At Pınar Dairy (Süt), we carry out our work in the environmental, social and governance areas within a framework that is consistent with the Yaşar Group’s sustainability vision, policies and governance approach,” Türkmen said.
“To reduce environmental pollution and use resources efficiently, we continue to produce with a ‘less energy, less water and less waste’ approach, being aware that natural resources and especially potable clean water resources, are limited,” he added…
