Haluk Okutur, Chairman of the Board of Istanbul Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association (İHBİR), said in his statement that exports continued to rise despite the negativities in the world.
Noting that as İHBİR, they realized an export of 255 million 841 thousand dollars in February with an increase of 26 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, Okutur said, “Our sector exports of cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products soared by 52.7 percent compared to the same month of the previous year. Our sector exports in February were 969 million. dollars.”
Okutur also stated that İHBİR, which exports to more than 200 countries, continues to add strength to the country’s economy and always supports its members.
