NASA; TURKEY EXPERIENCES A SEVERE DROUGHT!

NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) warned that Turkey is experiencing severe drought.

According to WWF (World Wildlife Fund)-Turkey has passed the critical level in drought and now moving towards becoming a water-poverty country with the impact of climate change.

Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Gaziantep, Diyarbakır, Bursa, Mersin, Konya, Adana and Antalya regions are on the list of provinces with high water risk globally.

All scientific data reveals that the water crisis is at the door both for Turkey and the world.

Today, we experience the effects of climate change in the Mediterranean Basin, where Turkey is also located, in the form of increase in average temperatures, decrease in precipitation and drought.

Unfortunately, we realize the value of the water flowing from our faucet and which we see easily accessible when the water levels in the dams alarm.

The recent drought map, shared by the NASA Earth, is warning that Turkey experiencing severe drought.
