Deputy Trade Minister Mahmut Gürcan said Turkey’s share in world wheat flour exports is 1.47 billion dollars.
Pointing out that the share of exports of agricultural and food industry products in total exports was 12.4 percent last year, Gürcan said, “When we look at these data in terms of wheat flour exports, Türkiye’s share in the world wheat flour exports of 6.96 billion dollars in 2023 is 21.2 percent with 1.47 billion dollars.
“In 2024, wheat flour exports of 1.16 billion dollars were mostly made to Iraq, followed by Syria, Somalia, Djibouti and Venezuela,” Gürcan added…
