Organised under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the T3 Foundation, with Anadolu Agency (AA) as its Global Communication Partner, TECHNOFEST, the world’s largest aviation, space and technology festival, continues to welcome visitors at Istanbul Atatürk Airport.

Baripoğlu told an AA correspondent that they had established a biotechnology company that produces bioplastic raw materials from agricultural waste, adding that they had converted tea waste from tea factories into value-added products.

Explaining that they were working with partner companies on kitchen products, Baripoğlu said, “We also aim to enter the automotive sector in the next stages. In the automotive sector, this could include vehicle interior trims and exterior bumpers.”

“We are currently conducting R&D work in collaboration with the automotive sector. In addition to tea waste, we also use sawdust waste from furniture and eggshell waste from egg factories,” she added.

Referring to the fact that regulations will become mandatory with the Climate Law, Arda Kılınçkını noted the following:

“As long as we make these products compliant with regulations, we will be able to use agricultural, tea and egg waste and achieve greater product integration. If we can achieve greater product integration, we will be able to adapt more to industry.”
