The “Life at Home, Fish at the Table” campaign, launched with the cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and the Association of Aquaculture Breeders, continues. As of yesterday trout took its place on the benches from 18.90 lira.

The campaign will continue until tomorrow.

Turkey Seafood and Animal Products Exporters’ Association Industry Board Chairman Sinan Kızıltan said that from alzheimer to the skin, from cancer to many diseases, if fish consumed regularly that destroys many illnesses, strengthens defense of the body against infection and the immune system.

Adding that trout is one of the richest fish species in terms of vitamins, Kızıltan continued as follows:

“Trout is rich in minerals, protein, iodine and phosphorus as well as vitamins A, D and B12. It meets a high portion of the daily iron need of a normal person. Trout is also a complete Omega-3 tank. With its 15% Omega-3 ratio, when nutritional values ​​are examined, it is similar to salmon. The composition of coenzyme Q10 in it is essential for our body to protect its health. CoenzimQ10 is used for cell growth, preservation and energy production. As the age progresses, it is recommended to take it as an additional supplement as its production decreases in the body, but you can protect your immune system with this vitamin group that serves as an antioxidant by consuming trout two or three times a week. Since trout calories and fat are very low, dieters can easily consume it.”
