86 percent increase in food exports to China…

Exports from Turkey to China soared by 29 percent from 2 billion 115 million dollars to 2 billion 727 million dollars in the January-October period of 2021.

The food exports of the Turkish food industry to China rose by 86 percent from 162 million dollars to 302 million dollars.

The China International Import Fair, held between 5-10 November 2021 in Shanghai, China, created a suitable ground for Turkey to further boost its exports to China.

Pointing out that the China International Import Fair, Turkish National Participation Organization held by Aegean Exporters’ Associations, is a fair that aims to announce to the world that China has an exporter identity as well as an importer identity, Aegean Exporters’ Associations Coordinator Chairman Jak Eskinazi said that Turkish food industry has set a target of 1 billion dollars in exporting to China.

Jak Eskinazi also stated that they are making efforts to export more Turkish export products to China, which exports 2.4 trillion dollars and imports 2.1 trillion dollars.
