İZMİR AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY CENTRE TO BE ESTABLISHED…

İzmir Agricultural Technology Center Workshop from İTB (Izmir Commodity Exchange)…

On 20 June 2019, within the scope of the studies carried out by İzmir Commodity Exchange for the establishment of İzmir Agricultural Technology Centre (İTTM), which would enable the development of technological applications needed for the sustainability and competitiveness of the agricultural sector and bring together producers and entrepreneurs producing agricultural technology, İzmir Agricultural Technology Center Workshop was held.

The opening speech of the workshop was made by the Secretary General of the Exchange, Erçin Güdücü said that the project regarding the preparation of The Agricultural Technology Centre’s feasibilty has been approved by İzmir Development Agency within the scope of ‘2018 Feasibility Support Programme’.

“In this context, Izmir’s economy, competitiveness and development is very important in terms of agriculture and related sectors. We are carrying out our workshop in order to put forward an innovative model, to prevent threats and risks and to evaluate the stakeholders of the sector for the development of innovation and entrepreneurship capacity in İzmir. The ideas and contributions of the stakeholders of the sector are very important for us to determine the right route” Güdücü also noted.

After Erçin Güdücü’s speech, on behalf of En Danışmanlık Ltd., who carried out the feasibility study of the Agricultural Technology Center, Evren Uygur made a comprehensive presentation about the feasibility study.

Following the opening speech and presentation, the workshop where the stakeholders exchanged ideas at the round table consisted of Projects and Relationship Networks Analysis, Management Model, Location and Pricing Analysis, Risks and Sustainability Analysis, General Evaluation and Q & A.

At the end of the workshop, all participants and sector stakeholders came together in the memorial photo. The feasibility report of the Izmir Agricultural Technology Center will be completed in November and the transition to the implementation phase will begin…
