Carrying the legacy of a 100-year tradition, Verde is known as the leading company in promoting Turkish olive oil to the world. Continuing its exports without slowing down since the day it was founded, Verde Olive Oil was acquired by TÜRKAL Group in 2018 and started its rise. İbrahim Başbuğ, Chairman of the Board of Verde Yağ, where this success was achieved again years later, said, “VERDE is a very important value not only for Turkey but also for the world olive oil sector. Being aware of this, we took over the company in 2018 and set our target as the highest. There are many successes in the history of our long-established company. We ignited the wick of new successes with our investments that we started without wasting time. The export championship achieved in 2020 and the ISO Top 500 industrial enterprises list are also indicators of our right investments.”

“Our goal is much higher than these achievements. We proudly represent our country in the world olive oil arena. We have gained a very important place in the sector and we aim to be the sole guide of the world olive oil sector,” İbrahim Başbuğ added…
