Monte Ida, with its Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil, was granted the Gold Award in the 61st Japan Food Selection organized by the Japan Food Analysts Association and became the only Turkish olive oil brand to receive an award in the competition!
Monte Ida, which offers the olive oil obtained from special olives grown in the ideal climate and fertile lands of the Aegean to consumers under the most suitable conditions without spoiling its naturalness, has achieved a proud success in the name of Turkish olive oil in the Japanese market, where it has been selling for years.
Monte Ida products are manufactured at the Uygun Refined Integrated Olive Oil Facilities in Havran district of Balıkesir province, located at the foot of the Kaz Mountains. Kaz Mountains, known as “Ida” in mythology, are distinguished by their climatic structure and ecosystem, having the most ideal air for the human organism and being the land where the most delicious olives are grown.
Uygun Refined Integrated Olive Oil Facilities first opened its doors as an olive oil refinery in the 1960s. In the following years, it has become one of the few integrated olive oil facilities in Türkiye by putting the continuous system olive squeezing, storage and filling units into service.
