The honeycomb and strained honey purchased from local beekeepers are analysed at a factory in the Sivas Organised Industrial Zone before being packaged.

The packaged honey sweetens palates not only domestically but also in European and Asian countries, as well as the United States and Canada.
İbrahim Doğan, owner of the exporting company, told an Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent that they have been operating since 1995 and have dealerships in many provinces.
Explaining that they export honey to European and Arab countries, Doğan said, “Our comb honey is a product unique to this region. Wherever you go in the world, comb honey is mainly produced in the Central Anatolia Region of Türkiye. Our flora is very rich. We buy honey from the Sivas, Erzincan and Erzurum regions and market it throughout the country and the world.”
Noting that the region’s high altitude allows for the growth of beautiful plants such as thyme and sage, Doğan noted, “Our products are high quality and among the world’s most recognised honeys. Honey is a valuable product for our country. We market it both domestically and internationally.”
