The highest demand in pickle exports is for pepper and gherkin pickles…
The first place in Türkiye’s pickle exports is pepper pickles with an amount of 118 million 200 thousand dollars. Informing that in January-September 2023, Germany was at the top with a demand of 70 million dollars for Turkish pickles, while the Netherlands was the top partner with a demand of 47 million dollars, Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB), ssia, “Türkiye sent pickles worth 32 million dollars to the United States of America, 25 million dollars to the United Kingdom and 11 million dollars to Romania. The number of countries to which we exported pickles has increased to 136.”
