Turkish export products took their place in the Turkmenistan Export Products Fair, which mediates the consumption of Turkish products in the Turkic Republics and Central Asian markets. Turkish flavours attracted great interest.
The 11th Turkmenistan Turkish Export Products Fair, which was held in Turkmenistan/Aşkabat on 4-6 December 2024, was opened by Minister of Trade Professor Dr. Ömer Bolat, Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar and Deputy Head of Trade of the Council of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguli Atagulyyev.
Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters‘ Association and Mehmet Ali Işık, Chair of the Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association along with M. Kadri Gündeş, Vice Chair of Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association were among the participants.
Exports from EIB to Turkmenistan soared by 27 percent…
Hayrettin Uçak who informed that the exports of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) to Turkmenistan soared by 27 percent from 29.5 million dollars to 37.5 million dollars in the January – November period of 2024, explained that the Turkmenistan Export Products Fair offers great opportunities to boost our exports to Turkmenistan.
Pointing out that the Ministry of Trade positions more than 60 percent of its annual budget as support for exports, Uçak said, “Professor Dr. Ömer Bolat and Deputy Minister of Trade Özgür Volkan Ağar’s visit to the Turkmenistan Export Products Fair will have a positive impact on the development of foreign trade between the two countries.”
