Gedik Chicken (Piliç), the first poultry company to export from Türkiye to EU countries, has continued its trade with the Netherlands and other European Union countries through partnerships. Following the start of exports, Gedik Piliç products have attracted significant interest from EU countries and are preparing to take their place on the shelves of many EU countries in the near future.

As one of the leading companies in Türkiye’s poultry meat sector, Gedik Piliç has achieved another first after obtaining an export licence to the EU. Gedik Piliç, which achieved the success of being the first and only Turkish company to export to China, the world’s most populous country, in 2020, has also pioneered the poultry meat sector by signing the first poultry meat export from Türkiye to the EU. Gedik Piliç, which obtained a licence to export poultry meat to the European Union (EU) following studies initiated by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 2009 and completed in December 2024, began EU trade with heat-treated chicken products in May 2025 with the Netherlands.

Following the first export from Türkiye to EU countries in May, Gedik Piliç received full marks from its Dutch business partners for the quality, taste, and operational management of its products.
