Save the Date! COP30 Farmers’ Summit in Brasília, 6–7 November 2025…
As global attention turns to the upcoming 2025 UN Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC COP30), the World Farmers’ Organisation (WFO), together with its member Confederação da Agricultura e Pecuária do Brasil (CNA Brazil), is proud to announce the COP30 Farmers’ Summit, the first farmer-led summit ahead of a UNFCCC COP.
The COP30 Farmers’ Summit will take place on 6–7 November 2025 at the CNA headquarters in Brasília, Brazil. This two-day, farmer-led event will convene farmer leaders, policymakers, private sector representatives, and key stakeholders to assess the state of climate action in agriculture and issue a joint call for action ahead of COP30 in Belém, Brazil.
As climate change accelerates and geopolitical tensions intensify, farmers are on the frontline of multiple, intersecting crises. The urgency to involve them directly in shaping climate solutions has never been greater.
This landmark summit marks a pivotal step toward a more inclusive and farmer-centred approach to global climate negotiations.
