Eastern Black Sea flavours exhibited in Moscow!

The Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) participated with a stand in the “World Food Moscow Fair”, which was held in Moscow / Russia between 17-20 September 2024, one of the most important fairs in the food sector.

While the products such as hazelnuts, Turkish salmon, fresh fruit vegetables and tea, which are the prominent export products of the Eastern Black Sea Region, were promoted at the fair, products such as köme, hazelnut cream and cheese varieties, which have not yet reached the desired level in exports but are considered to have potential, were also tasted and the evaluations of the Russian visitors were taken.

In order to further increase the exports to the Russian Federation, which is the most important export market of the Eastern Black Sea Region in both fresh fruit and vegetable and aquaculture sectors and to ensure that Turkish food manufacturing companies operating in Black Sea region get more share from the Russian market.

DKİB’s stand, which traditionally participates in the World Food Moscow Fair held in Moscow every year, was visited by the Turkish Ambassador to Moscow Tanju Bilgiç and the Moscow Commercial Counsellor Ahmet Onur Öztürk and received information about the exports of the region.

Stating that they were pleased with the intense interest in Turkish flavours at the fair, DKİB officials also held meetings with businessmen from both Russian and other participating countries in order to establish business contacts for the regional companies engaged in the food sector…
