The Turkish Export Products Fair, held in Lahore, Pakistan, with the aim of contributing to the development of economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Pakistan, took place again this year with broad participation.

The opening of the fair, organised under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade and organised by the Central Anatolia Exporters’ Associations, was attended by Türkiye’s Ambassador to Lahore, Eymen Şimşek and the Ministry of Trade’s General Director of Exports, Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya.
The Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) also successfully promoted the export potential, production power and sectors represented by the Eastern Black Sea Region at the fair with its stand. The fair attracted considerable interest from the Pakistani business community, with the DKİB promoting sectors with competitive strength in international markets, including food, machinery, automotive, medical, agriculture, textiles and construction materials, in addition to products specific to the region and providing detailed information to visitors.

The DKİB stand, which attracted particular interest from Pakistani businesspeople in the food products and machinery industries, made significant contributions to deepening economic cooperation between the two countries. During one-on-one meetings held throughout the fair, the aim was to enhance the export opportunities of companies in the region and provide access to new markets. In addition to promoting products and services, important contacts were made with the aim of establishing new business partnerships and trade bridges.
In their post-fair assessment, DKİB officials highlighted the potential of the Pakistani market and stated that similar promotional activities should be boosted and continued in order for companies in the region to play a more active role in this market…
