According to data from ikas, which assessed e-commerce trends in the coffee sector as part of World Coffee Day on 1 October, the share of coffee and coffee-related products in e-commerce shopping baskets has doubled over the past year, rising to 3.7 percent. Around 85 percent of the nearly 100 coffee brands selling online via the ikas platform also have physical shops. For brands implementing the right digital marketing and customer loyalty strategies, turnover growth exceeds 40 percent.
