Christian Zuckerman elected as the new Vice President of Hawai’i Farmers Union!

Aloha HFU ʻOhana,

We are pleased to share that during this year’s 2025 15th Annual Convention, our membership elected Christian Zuckerman as the new Vice President of Hawaiʻi Farmers Union (HFU).

Christian has been a committed leader within HFU for many years. He brings extensive experience in regenerative farming, food-systems development, and farmer support across Hawaiʻi. He will continue serving in several key HFU and HFUF leadership roles:

• President of the HFU Oahu Wai‘anae Chapter
• CFO of the Hawaiʻi Farmers Union Foundation (HFUF)
• Organic Transitions Coordinator for our USDA TOPP Program

Christian’s work includes years of managing and supporting organic farms, improving local food-system infrastructure, and mentoring beginning farmers. Since joining HFU in 2016, he has consistently helped strengthen chapter engagement, support financial health within HFUF, and expand statewide programs that assist farmers transitioning to organic production. His steady leadership and vision continue to be an asset to our organization and Hawaiʻi’s farming community…
