“Türkiye is one of the first options that come to mind for countries that want to import pasta. We are a country that can process the quality wheat we have in high-tech facilities and export it at competitive prices. More than 65 per cent of the country’s total pasta exports, which has an important place in the global food supply, are made by businesses operating in the Southeast, the homeland of durum wheat,” he said.

Pointing out that since there is a great demand from different geographies for the products they process in the region, he added, “Our companies generate an average of 50 million dollars a month from pasta exports.”
