Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) Vice Coordinator Birol Celep said that agriculture sector will export 5.5 billion dollars
Emphasizing that they have brought 5 billion 338 million dollars of foreign currency to Turkey in the sectors of aquaculture and animal products, fresh fruit, vegetable and products, dried fruits, tobacco, cereals, pulses, oilseeds, olives and olive oil and non-wood forest products,
Aegean Exporters’ Associations Vice Coordinator Birol Celep underlined that they aim to close 2021 with an export figure of 5.5 billion dollars.
Pointing out that there are decreases in yields in many agricultural products due to global warming, Birol Celep said, “We will focus on sustainability-based projects in order to reduce the effects of climate change. We will develop policies in line with the Green Action Reconciliation Plan published in the Official Gazette last month by our Presidency.”
“We will use our water resources efficiently. By taking the right steps, we aim to export 6 billion dollars of agricultural products from the Aegean Region in 2022,” Birol celep added…
