Press release…

The Turkish Tastes project, run by the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) to raise awareness and consumption of Turkish food products in the US market, launched a powerful promotional campaign in Las Vegas as part of the ACF National Convention, one of America’s leading gastronomic events.

At the event, held with the joint participation of six Food Exporters’ Associations within the EIB representing the Turkish food sector, Bedri Girit, Chair of the Aegean Seafood and Animal Products Exporters’ Association, introduced Türkiye’s unique culinary culture and high-quality product range to American chefs.

“We are positioning Turkish food products on the US’s most powerful gastronomy platforms”

“Türkiye’s food exports to the US reached 1.7 billion dollars in 2024 and 1.1 billion dollars in the first six months of 2025. Our goal with our Turkish Tastes project is to raise brand awareness of Turkish food products in the American market and create a strong perception among chefs, restaurant chains, retail networks and the end consumer. This event, held in Las Vegas, holds strategic importance as it is one of the most prestigious gastronomy events in the US,” Girit said.

Highlighting that participating chefs had the opportunity to experience the diversity and quality potential of Turkish cuisine, Girit added, “In the coming period, we will continue to strongly position Turkish food products in the US market through tasting events, collaborations with chefs, experiential demonstrations that tell our product stories and media campaigns. As EIB, we aim to promote the rich heritage of Turkish cuisine, its healthy and sustainable products globally and to sustainably boost demand for Turkish food products.”
