Supported by the Türkiye’s Southwestern province of Muğla’s Governorship Investment Monitoring and Coordination Directorate (YİKOB) and the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), ‘Rural Development Model in Local: Muğla’ project, Muğla’s local products will be opened to world markets with a new trade model. Within the scope of the project, cooperative works, branding, e-commerce and advertising works will be carried out. In addition, sales points designed with modern Muğla architecture will be established in Muğla.
The signing ceremony of the ‘Rural Development Model in Local; Muğla’ project prepared by the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry was held.
Muğla Director of Agriculture and Forestry Barış Saylak made a statement before the protocol signing ceremony and said, “The project, which includes branding and especially organisation activities to enhance the added value of our local products, will be a move that we attach great importance in terms of foreseeing a new trade model. We aim to provide new market opportunities to our producers, especially through the sales points and e-commerce channels we will create on tourism routes.”
“With this new trade model, Muğla’s local products will be represented much more professionally in the food sector and will take their place in the reliable food category. I wish that our project will be beneficial to Muğla producers and our province,” Saylak added…
