The 2021 INC 3D Online Conference, held by the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC), on May 25-27, has been completed. The conference brought together more than 1,300 industry professionals in the nut and dried fruit industry from more than 70 countries of the world.

More than 70 expert speakers spearheaded discussions on the industry, addressing topics such as sustainability, yield forecasts, supply and demand, the benefits of dried and shell fruits to human health and efforts to increase consumption.

International Council of Nut and Dried Fruits (INC) Ambassador to Turkey Ahmet Bilge Göksan similarly stated that global peanut production, which is estimated to be 47.8 million MT (unshelled), is expected to remain within the range of the previous season.

Göksan said, “Overall volume and product quality paint an optimistic picture. Consumption of snacks and new products, driven by healthy and plant-based nutrition trends, is increasing in Argentina as well as Europe. However, the export market remains the main focus of this origin.”
