The cereals, pulses and oilseeds sector, Türkiye’s leader in food exports, ramped up its exports by 4 percent in 2025, from 11.895 billion to 12.367 billion dollars.
The Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association ramped up its exports by 23 percent in 2025, from 963 million to 1.185 billion dollars, becoming the record holder for export growth among the 12 exporters’ associations within the Aegean Exporters’ Associations.
Summarising their 2025 performance as ‘a busy and productive year,’ Muhammet Öztürk, Chair of the Aegean Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Exporters’ Association, stated that they had left behind a very active period in terms of their activities, as well as an intense struggle.
Vegetable oil sector is the clear leader…
“Our sector is one of the driving forces behind Türkiye’s food exports, both in terms of production infrastructure and export volume,” Öztürk said.
“The sub-sectors that stand out in our exports are vegetable oils with 602 million dollara, animal feed with 151.6 million dollars, chocolate confectionery products with 124.5 million dollars, oilseeds with 99.5 million dollars and cereal products with 68 million,” he noted.
