Ali Yıldız, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Marmara Olive Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union (Marmarabirlik), stated that they export to 68 countries and aim to send olives and other products to the Middle Eastern market through a special initiative centered in Saudi Arabia.

We’ve raised our export target to 50 million dollars…
Yıldız said that Marmarabirlik reached a record export figure with 35 million dollars in sales.
“We’ve raised our export target to 50 million dollars. We continue to make progress every day, both to contribute to our country and to promote Turkish brands and products globally. We export throughout Europe. We export to more than 60 countries, primarily the US, UK, Australia and Canada. Because black table olives appeal to the ethnic market, our main export market is European countries, where there are a large number of Turkish expatriates,” Yıldız said.
Pointing out that their promotional efforts are currently ongoing, Yıldız added, “Marmarabirlik was recently unveiled in Times Square. Our efforts to further expand the Marmarabirlik brand in the US are also rapidly progressing.”
