Governor Mustafa Masatlı participated in the cotton harvest on farmer Mehmet Yurdsever’s 190-decare field in the central Antakya district.
Masatlı, who also got on a cotton harvester, spoke to reporters and wished all farmers a successful harvest season.
Noting that Hatay province ranks fourth in Türkiye in cotton production, Masatlı said, “We hope to see a yield of around 140,000 tonnes this year.”
