Tariş Fig Union Chairman Ersin Kacar announced the purchasing prices for the 2025-2026 dried fig season.
Board members met at the Tariş Fig Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union facilities to determine dried fig purchasing prices for the harvest season.

Following the meeting, Kacar made a statement wishing producers a prosperous season, saying, “The price per kilogram for A1 quality figs has been set at 300 lira and the price for table figs has been set at 550 lira.”
Kacar noted that the quality of figs this year is better than last year and added, “Last year, we purchased 2,700 tonnes of figs from our producers. This year, our purchasing target is 4,000 tonnes. We expect the yield to be approximately 80,000 tonnes. We supply 30 percent of the figs we purchase to the domestic market. We export to approximately 35 countries. Our dried fig exports are approximately 300 million dollars annually and we aim to ramp up this figure.”
