Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association, stated that Anatolia is the homeland of Sultani seedless grapes. He added that Türkiye exported 35,000 tonnes of Sultani seedless table grapes in 2024, generating 81 million dollars in foreign currency revenue.
“Our total table grape exports in 2024 reached 134 million dollars. Sultani seedless grapes accounted for a 60 percent share of the total. Despite the cold and frost experienced in March and April this year, there is a high-quality export yield. We believe we will reach or exceed last year’s export figures in 2025. Our goal is to bring a total of 150 million dollars in fresh grape exports and 100 million dollars in foreign currency to our country through Sultani seedless fresh grape exports. I wish our producers, traders and exporters a fruitful season,” he said.
