18 companies reaching the peak in Aegean fresh fruit and vegetable exports receive awards…

The Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association organised the ‘Stars of Export Awards Ceremony’ in three different categories for its 18 members, who achieved 35 per cent of its 1.231 billion dollar exports in 2025.

Hayrettin Uçak, Chair of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association, said, “In 2025, with the efforts of our 718 valuable members, we exported 1 billion 231 million dollars worth of fresh fruit, vegetables and products to 128 countries. From citrus fruits to figs and grapes, from tomato paste to pickles and dried tomatoes, we have succeeded together in bringing over a hundred products to tables around the world.”

“We have become a very large family with our producers, exporters, transporters, suppliers and employees. I would like to thank each and every member of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association family. I would like to make a special mention of the 18 companies we will be presenting awards to today. At the end of a challenging year, they managed to write their names in gold letters in our Association’s exports. I congratulate and celebrate the 18 companies for their success,” he noted.

“We participated in a total of 46 fairs in 16 countries and 11 trade delegations in 8 countries”

Pointing out that they provided training to our companies to reduce and prevent food losses, he added, “During our Board of Directors’ term, we participated in a total of 46 fairs in 16 countries and 11 trade delegations in 8 countries. All our efforts had a single goal: to ramp up our production and exports in a sustainable manner and to set an example in the global market with high-quality, residue-free products.”

“I wish the 2025 awards ceremony of our Association, which has completed its 60th year with great pride, every success and extend my respects to you all,” he concluded…
