Last week, Czech Minister of Agriculture Marek Vyborny came to Türkiye with a delegation of 60 people. Marek Vyborny first met with the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı and Ministry officials in Ankara and then held meetings with different groups at the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
We, together with the members of our Turkish Guild of Agricultural Journalists (TAGYAD) from Izmir region, visited Mr. Vyborny. On this occasion, we had the opportunity to get up-to-date information about the Czech agriculture and food sector. However, as TAGYAD, our main topic was to discuss how we could improve our relations between Türkiye and the Czech Republic within the framework of ‘Agricultural journalism’. We informed Mr. Minister that we have carried out joint activities with many countries until today. Mr. Vyborny showed a very close interest and instructed his assistants, ‘Let us cooperate in this matter and carry out a new work with Türkiye in the field of agricultural journalism’.
